Aim and scope

The reviewed journal “Synopsis: Text, Context, Media” publishes relevant research in the field of literary studies, linguistics and social communications.

Journal publications cover the following issues: literary text theory, history of Ukrainian literature, Ukrainian literature of the period of populism, history of world literature, text stylistics, linguistic analysis of literary and journalistic texts, reading process, text translation aspects, media text, media as a discourse. This list is not exhaustive and may be expanded by various studies of the text, including interdisciplinary studies. 

An important section of the journal consists of new translations into the Ukrainian language of outstanding scientific and literary works with scientific commentaries.
