The article deals with the problems connected with the history of the genre of theological-polemic tracts in Ukrainian literature in the 17 and 18 centuries, particularly with polemics between orthodox authors and representatives of the Old Faith. Characteristic features of the genre have been outlined in the tracts by Semeon Polockii, Stephan Yavorsky, Dmytro Tuptalo, Teophan Prokopovych, Teophilakt Lopatinskii, Arseniy Matsievych.Downloads
