THE BEGINNINGS OF THE PIARISTS ORDER IN LYUBESHIV (NEW DOLSK) IN UKRAINE

The article is a continuation of the researches in activity of Piarist Order during the First Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth, which have been published in numerous international publications. The main affairs of the Order both in a field of school and theatre education are analized in this paper. First of all the characteristics and specificity of the beginning of the Order in Western Ukraine, by the example of the construction of religious house and school in Lyubeshiv (New Dolsk) in Ukraine, are accented.
The ways of creating a new religious centre, and complex of works related to infrastructure of religious and school forms of support and development of activity of monks are defined. Much attention is paid to cooperation of the Order with patrons – usually the people which were directly related to the spread of education and promotion of theatre education. They were mainly the representatives of local nobility and aristocracy, but also social and educational figures.
The article contains a bibliography and appendix with the list of analyzed sources.
