For the modern society it is very important to find some explanations of the historical events of the XX century. The matter is that those events, which were so destructive with theirs totalitarian occupation, mass killing of the hole nationalities, that they made a great influence on the behavior of the humanity nowadays. The main is that different cultural groups try to so important reincarnate memory which was lost in the result of different historical conditions. Literature takes a great part in this process, creating the artistic environment, where forgotten world can be remained with the help of remembrance. In the process of reflecting history modern literature very often also creates the space of survived and recovered memory. This article is about the struggle with the traumatic memory in the Oksana Zabuzhko’s novel “Field Work in Ukrainian Sex”.Downloads
