PRESENTATION AS A MEANS OF LINGUISTIC AND PSYCHOLOGICAL IMPACT ON A MASS AUDIENCE

During the rapid development of social communication, the skill to influence the minds and opinions of a wide range of recipients assumes ever greater importance. Language suggestion is the phenomenon of a coercive power of the word. In the practice of the verbal interaction it is characterized by the use of specific language markers that are intended to influence a person’s preferences. The article deals with the presentation as a means of suggestion in the historical aspect. The carried out research enabled the author to offer his own definition of the term “presentation”, to ground the combination of influence techniques on the consciousness and the subconscious during the presentation. The knowledge of the linguistic suggestion mechanisms can help to avoid psychotechnical effect of manipulation.Downloads
